About The Summit

The Summit is a subdivision in the Eastlake community of Chula Vista, California which offer luxury condominiums.

Residents at The Summit enjoy spectacular views of the city lights, mountains as well as small snippets of the ocean. Amenities include two community swimming pools, fitness center, and spa. The clubhouse also has a fully equipped kitchen for special events. These homes require very little outdoor maintenance.

The Chula Vista Elementary School District offers highly rated facilities like Olympic View Elementary. The Sweetwater Union High School District is in charge of the older grades with excellent schools such as Eastlake Middle and Eastlake High. There are several private facilities to choose from including St. Rose of Lima School, Saint John’s Episcopal School, Mater Dei Catholic High School, and Lutheran High School of San Diego. The county offers several private colleges and Southwestern College is nearby.

The Eastlake Country Club features a Ted Robinson designed 18-hole course that has a par 72 as well as four sets of tees and 72 sand traps. This club is known for its six lakes and almost 1,000 trees. Many tournaments are held here and there are facilities for weddings and other special events.

You’ll find the longest running farmers market in the South Bay in this city. Residents love being able to buy local and seasonal produce. This market sells fruits, vegetables, plants, and flowers. And it features an international food court. The Otay Ranch Center is just across Olympic Parkway and offers a movie theater, weekly farmers market, and many retail stores.

Residents are close to the Lower Otay Reservoir which is where the United States Olympic Rowing Team trains. The reservoir is used for boating, picnicking, and barbecues. Fishing is very popular with several types of fish in the lake including channel catfish, bullhead, bluegill, largemouth bass, and white crappie.
